What a venue should hold to when children drive

2024-06-18 · GEBI TECH

A junior session can teach steering and nerve, provided the speed and the protection are limited first.

Choose the kart for age and size, slower than an adult rental kart, with a belt and protection. Helmet, neck brace, suit and gloves go on before anyone sits in the seat. The briefing covers steering, throttle and brake, and the rules: no driving against the flow, and no stopping on the circuit to talk.

The circuit itself needs someone maintaining it, and signs that can be read. Do not put a junior session into the same flow as an adult race. A parent or a coach stays where they can see the track and stops dangerous driving. Tyres, brakes and steering are checked on a schedule.

A small timing result or a finish certificate is enough encouragement. There is no need to import the speed of an adult race. The current GEBI website has a speed-control section, and that page says the content is still being prepared. It does not publish a speed limit. This site does not sell complete junior karts.
